Waiting on Wednesday: The Last Star by Rick Yancey

The Last Star (The 5th Wave, #3)

Title: The Last Star
Author: Rick Yancey
Series: The 5th Wave #3
Genre: Young Adult, Science Fiction, Dystopia, Apocalyptic, Fantasy, Aliens
Expected Release Date: May 26th 2016
Goodreads Synopsis:

We’re here, then we’re gone, and that was true before they came. That’s always been true. The Others didn’t invent death; they just perfected it. Gave death a face to put back in our face, because they knew that was the only way to crush us.

It won’t end on any continent or ocean, no mountain or plain, jungle or desert. It will end where it began, where it had been from the beginning, on the battlefield of the last beating human heart.

Master storyteller Rick Yancey invokes triumph, loss, and unrelenting action as the fate of the planet is decided in the conclusion to this epic series.

I was so glad that I didn’t read the first two books during the hype because I may not appreciate it as much as I do now. Pulled an all-nighter for the two books after I finished watching The 5th Wave and it was awesome!! Anyway, The Last Star, does that star refers to Cassiopeia? 🙂

  1. Ahhh, well, I still need to read the first of these and I’m definitely encouraged by all the positive reviews but I’m so far behind now that it’s really daunting!

  2. It’s really good but you might want to read it after The Last Star’s been released to avoid cliffhangers because I’ll assure you, when you start reading this series you wouldn’t want to put it down!
